Ryno have the capabilities and approvals to deliver CITB approved training including:

  • TSTS (Tunnel Safety Training Scheme)

  • Site Safety Plus (SSSTS, SMSTS)


The Tunnelling Safety Training Scheme (TSTS) is a one-day course designed for those who are involved in the tunnel construction industry as a member of the workforce, to help them understand a variety of different aspects of the industry, the associated working environment, and some of the potential hazards that they may face working on a tunnelling site.

TSTS

This two-day Site supervision safety training scheme (SSSTS) course is designed for those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities. The course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures, and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce. The SSSTS course is endorsed by Build UK and exceeds the standard set by CITB for construction supervisors training.

The Site management safety training scheme (SMSTS) is a five-day course designed for site managers, or aspiring site managers. It is designed for those with responsibility for managing, monitoring, implementing and reporting in a construction environment. The course covers relevant health, safety and environmental legislation affecting safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures, and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce. The SMSTS course is endorsed by Build UK as the standard training for all construction managers
